Apple cider vinegar is one of the ingredients that we always have in our homes. It is very beneficial to our health, if consumed or applied on our skin. When applied to the skin, it prevents the growth of bacteria and fungi because of their acidic compounds.
That’s why it is being used as a cleaner face. The first sign of improvement you’ll notice on your skin once you start using apple cider vinegar is that your pores will be cleaner and your skin will feel better.
This is probably due to the acidic nature of cider vinegar. This acid does not let acne develop and balances the pH of your skin. This is especially beneficial for dry skin or fat face. Moreover, your skin will look younger.
This is due to alpha hydroxyl acids that remove dead skin cells. Its effects are similar to other chemical skin peels, only that your skin is not affected by the heat which is used during the chemical peel.
Apple cider vinegar has a strong odor, and that is why it is usually diluted in the ratio 1: 3, apple cider vinegar and water, respectively.
Typical amount of apple cider vinegar and water should be used – a tablespoon of vinegar and three tablespoons of water.
However, you can dilute this solution even more, even then your skin will benefit. When you finish washing, clean your face with a warm, damp cloth and then dry it with a towel. You can carry out this practice up to twice a day.
